A Leadership Forum

Jed Holtzman is the Senior Policy Analyst for 350 Bay Area, a regionally networked climate nonprofit working for steep reductions of greenhouse gas emissions in the nine-county Bay Area and beyond.
In that capacity, he has won the successful launch of San Francisco’s CCA energy program, CleanPowerSF; defended clean energy programs from special interest attacks in Sacramento; successfully lobbied a $20 billion pension fund to divest from coal holdings and make substantial fossil-free investments; helped to restrict extreme energy extraction methods like hydraulic fracturing, acidizing, and tar sands mining, including on locally owned land; and worked to achieve the creation of a first-in-the-nation multi-sectoral Regional Climate Protection Strategy by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, among many other endeavors.
