Katie Rice

Supervisor of Marin County

Supervisor Rice has represented Marin County’s 2nd District since 2011. She also serves as a Director on the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, The Association of Bay Area Government’s Regional Planning Committee, the Transportation Authority of Marin and several other local boards and commissions.

A native of Marin County, Supervisor Rice’s engagement in public service long pre-dates her tenure with County government and is the foundation of her understanding of the depth of residents’ concerns for their neighborhoods, schools, and community.

As Supervisor, she has focused her attention on addressing traffic congestion, flood and fire prevention, housing and services for our most vulnerable, and continuing to uphold and further Marin’s long standing and deeply held values around environmental, agricultural and open space protections.
