Brendon Harrington is the Director of Transportation at Google, providing day-to-day management of numerous transportation programs designed to encourage alternative commute transportation modes. Since joining Google in 2009, he has overseen the growth of the nation’s largest private corporate shuttle fleet, as well as the community bicycle program, intra-campus shuttle services and other programs that reduce single occupancy vehicle demand. His work at Google has resulted in a mode split of less than 50 percent of employees driving alone to Google’s headquarters campus in Mountain View, CA.
Mr. Harrington previously worked for both nonprofit and private sector organizations on transportation program management and shuttle operations in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Denver in various capacities including operations, planning, business management, program management, and advocacy.
