Green Building Policy and Advocacy Manager for StopWaste

Wes Sullens, LEED Fellow, is a Built Environment Program manager for StopWaste in Alameda County. Mr. Sullens represents his local government agency on regional and international green building codes, leadership sustainability standards like LEED, and product labeling systems including Cradle to Cradle. He is currently the Vice-Chair of the International Green Construction Code and is the technical lead for the Bay Area Regional Energy Network’s (BayREN) Codes & Standards program. Mr. Sullens directs research on the embodied carbon of buildings, circular economy initiatives for the built environment, and health attributes of recycled content products.
