Caitlyn Blackford

Operations Manager of Veritable Vegetable

Caitlyn Blackford is the Inventory Control Operations Manager for Veritable Vegetable, a San Francisco-based organic produce distributor established in 1974. Woman-owned and operated, Veritable Vegetable serves hundreds of organic farms and independent retail businesses throughout California, Hawaii, and the Southwest. Veritable Vegetable is a certified B Corporation and believe in using the power of business to transform social and environmental challenges. Ms. Blackford is responsible for inventory accuracy and quality, and co-directs receiving, storage, and shipping operations. In 2013, she received a “Use Resuables” grant offered through StopWaste and established a reusable pallet wrap program, significantly reducing plastic wrap waste in the company’s operations. Previously Ms. Blackford held positions in both Purchasing and Sales at Veritable Vegetable.
